The last time I was in London I was about 10 years old, and for some reason I didn't really remember much. Going back at 28 for the first stop on our trip was amazing (especially after the flight from hell, UGH) and I'm so, so thrilled we did a mixture of touristy & non-touristy things.
I was also a VERY picky eater at 10 & would only eat chicken nuggets. 28? Notttttttt so much. Let's just say many fish & chips dishes were consumed.
We stayed in Covent Garden in an Airbnb with my family and we LOVED it! It's such a beautiful, fun little area of London and easy walking access to just about everything you would want to do. The view from the main room was incredible, and lucky for us it was 80 degrees the few days we were there!
This off-the-shoulder dress was perfect for strolling around the town & sight-seeing without feeling too heavy, and these sandals were surprisingly comfortable walk in for hours (no blisters!) -- and are currently on sale!! I have a feeling this dress will make a Fourth of July appearance at some point over the holiday weekend :)
The week is almost over & it's one step closer to celebrating this beautiful country we live in!

^^Not sure why this picture weirdly cut off....
Hello Big Ben!
This fun bar & restaurant was literally 10 steps across the street from our flat!
One of the many fish & chips I devoured :)
