We saw our first (very light) flurry of snow this weekend! To me, this is always exciting and beautiful the first time around...and then it gets old. Like how there's a potential snow storm to snow us in this weekend old.
Actually I wouldn't be too mad about that. Some Sarabeth's hot chocolate (if you haven't had this yet & you live in NYC GO THERE INSTANTLY/NOW) + stocked wine + favorite pad Thai place in walking distance = recipe for surviving a winter-filled weekend. Other essentials? Eh...
It was my mother-in-law's birthday this weekend and all the fam came home to celebrate!! I love seeing everyone, especially since I don't have any siblings (I have sooo many now, I love it!!! Is that weird?). Luckily the flurries held off until the day after big dinner plans and ended before people had to make trips back home.
We were able to sneak in a few shots before heading over for some for fam time, and the flurries had just started (hi, cold). J bought me this coat for Christmas & I love how snuggly it is! The large open collar adds a little sense of sophistication (especially when you're all bundled up like Ralphie's brother in A Christmas Story) and makes you feel just....normal. And yes, that's the neon sweater I've worn before but I can't stop wearing it because it's so comfy and easy to throw on & go! Also it's on MEGA SALE right now so GO! GET ONE!
If a large amount of snow is headed your way this weekend let me know what you plan on doing. Staying in bed (or your comfy couch) with numerous Netflix series on repeat? Movies? Games?
