I have always loved the colors red & pink for whatever reason, I think it's the ultimate girly girl in me. My mother has always loved me in anything red too II had some pretty sweet cherry red patent leather Mary Janes back in the day). When I danced my dance teacher used to always make sure my competition dresses had lots of red in them, along with LOTS of sequins, glitz & glam -- talk about girly girl! My last dance dress is actually at my parents' house still, I won't let them give it away.....I actually wish I didn't have to give ANY of my dresses away. What can I say, I'm attached!
Naturally when I came across these strappy fringed shoes I immediately fell in love with them. So much sass, edge & elegance all in one shoe! Well, two, actually. Per usual, there are pricy versions out there by other great designers but I opted for the less expensive ;)
Speaking of sass...THIS TOP!! This also comes in a rich, vibrant red color but I love that the white can be dressed up or down easily. I actually wore this with leather pants on Valentine's Day this year, and I'll even try pairing it with a pair of distressed denim shorts this summer too! And the price? You will. Not. Believe. It. Buy yourself one, then buy your mom/sister/aunt/cousin/best friend/etc one too.
