Transitional Staples

April 7, 2016

I'm not a very adventurous person with my hair (in the past 2 years or so I managed to semi-decently curl my hair with a wand, I'm not kidding), but this weekend was SO windy that I had to keep these locks tucked away. This crown braid was surprisingly super easy, and though I thought it would look absolutely ridiculous on me but I actually liked it! Zero heat tools required, which is also a plus since I'm trying to grow my like Rapunzel.

This striped shirt is a definite go-to in my wardrobe, an easy outfit maker. I really think a good striped tee is a staple in anyone's closet, it really does go with anything! Pair it with your favorite distressed jeans or a pencil skirt & a blazer..day-to-night look indeed. It's also a great transitional top into spring!

I love these Paige jeans, they're made with the most divine, velvety-feeling denim. They're a little long on me (if you can't tell) but I'm planning on getting them tailored soon! Black jeans...another one of my wardrobe staples :)

Another favorite staple? A bold red lip! I have 2 different bright red lipsticks I like to toggle between depending on the outfit and mood, one is from NARS (a matte finish) & the other from YSL (a shiny gloss/lipstick combo). Both are SUPER long-lasting so reapplying is very minimal, which is great for me because I normally forget I'm wearing any kind of lip color.

Have a great rest of the week! Xo
