The weekend of Halloween was a struggle...and I'm sure you can guess why. As we handed out pieces of candy to the Elsa's and 8 year-old Donald Trump's of the world, I would occasionally dip my hand into the candy bowl and indulge in a few pieces.
A few pieces turned into a LOT of pieces, and I feel like I've been paying for it ever since. Cue mini self-pitty violin.
The day after, as I struggled to put on a pair of jeans, I resorted back to what I knew what fit me best -- my fancy pants, which happen to conveniently be stretchy. I threw on this 3/4 sleeve tunic (also comfy & stretchy), over the knee boots (also stretchy, see where I'm going with this?) and a statement necklace because...well...who doesn't love a good statement necklace?!
Thankfully the candy is out of the house so I think I'm safe now. Until Thanksgiving. :)
