Last weekend J & I went to a wedding for our friends (and one of J's fraternity brothers) Anne & Dave. It was a gorgeous fall day at a beautiful location. At cocktail hour they had this great jazz-like band and, among other things, these simple but AMAZING warm ham & cheese sandwiches. Actually they could have served any kind of sandwich and I would have been thrilled -- I love a good sammie.
I had this dress for some time before their wedding, and was saving it because I knew it would be a perfect fit. I LOVE love love the different fabrics & fall colors peppered throughout the dress, something Byron Lars does very well. It's almost like a French elegant twist on patchwork, something I like to think Marie Antoinette would wear if she lived at this time. Or so I like to think :)
Can you guys believe it's already the last week in October/almost Halloween!? (note: I'm excited because that means my birthday is next week...HA) I'll be sharing my SUPER last minute costume I wore this weekend later this week that I literally threw together in 5 minutes..and then my outfit for our best friends' Halloween party this weekend.
