It's Labor Day weekend, and as the summer comes to a bittersweet close I've been reflecting on how AMAZING of a summer it has been. Our wedding, beautiful honeymoon, new house, new job, and time well-spent with family & friends. Now let's hear it for apple picking!

A week or so ago I had this post with Ollie & Fin, two goldendoodles that live happily with my best friend Meg & her husband. Maddie got a little jeal, so I told her she can make her big debut on TMS soon.

Yes, I'm "that" dog person. No, I have no shame.

I actually made this cute little bow for Maddie's collar! It has velco on the strap so it can be attached to any collar -- dogs need a little variety too! Isn't she adorable!? She's such a ham for the camera too. I'm thinking a tutorial on bows for dog collars could be on here in the near future.

This chevron stripe midi dress is currently on sale at Ann Taylor. It's lightweight & stretchy but not too clingy. I'm definitely adding this to the beginning of fall wardrobe with some booties & a jean jacket.
